This weekend the spring weather came out a little bit ahead of schedule and provided the neighbors in Westhaven with an enjoyable outdoor weekend. The tennis courts were active as were the subdivisions many parks and walking trails. This break in the weather has also revived the real estate market. The market locally in Westhaven has 14.8 months of inventory at the current absorption rate of 5.3 homes selling on average for the past 6 months. February had only 4 closings, with 5 Pending and 5 more properties that were Expired or Withdrawn. Thus the Pending ratio is 6%. Westhaven features luxury homes from $1.5 Million down to bungalows and town homes int eh $250s. The neighborhood has a beautiful residents center with workout room, theater, and more. They open areas have the best horticulture in Middle Tennessee and the town center is coming alive with restaurants soon to be open.
