EXIT Realty Knoxville  had a successful fundraising event for KARM (Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries). KARM's mission is to seek and rescue the poor and needy of the Knox Area by providing recovery services in Jesus' name. KARM is supported by the gifts of friends and receives no federal funding to shelter the homeless. In all communications, KARM strives to present the needs of homeless and poverty-stricken people with accuracy and integrity.

Pam Patterson, one of my homebuyers from MI, decided that once she and her husband had moved to Knoxville and settled in, to pursue her business goals with Pampered Chef. She shared her idea with us which was to have several vendors (Arbonne, For Every Home Candles & Décor, Jewels by Park Lane, Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, Party Lite, Premier Jewelry, Prepaid Legal, Princess House, Send Out Cards, Vollara) and find a charity to donate the proceeds from the sells of each vendors' items. We brainstormed various charities in our community and decided that since KARM had just had a fundraiser with a local radio station, we would follow-up with contributions to KARM.

Several people attended the event from all over Knoxville. Snacks and drinks were provided, along with some wonderful socialization among all. We are so grateful to all who participated and donated to a worthy cause!

Sometimes we tend to forget as to just how truly blessed we are and being able to share and help those who are less fortunate is the greatest blessing of all.
