Every weekend in May, Triune in Williamson County hosts the Reniassance Festival at Castle Gwynne.
You can Travel back to 16th Century England. Over 60 skilled Artisians from all over the country display their wares from silks to swords; from gems to jewels. Flavors, aromas and tastes of specialty foods and drinks greet the festival-goer. Hear the sounds of Renaissance musicians and merrymakers as they echo through the trees. Color, movement, and peals of laughter welcome those who thrill to the challenges of Games of Skill and Man-Powered Rides.
May 8 - 9: Love and Romance Weekend - You can renew your vows in the Renewal Ceremony
May 15 - 16: Silver Jubilee Weekend - celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Tennessee Reniassance Festival
May 22 - 23: Pirate Invasion Weekend - See the swashbuckling and sword brandishing of pirates galore.
May 29 - 30 - 31: International Jousting Tournament Weekend - Competitors from around the globe compete in Full Armored Contact Jousting
