We are nearing the holidays and many people will be traveling to visit with Family while others will be staying home; to all of you I wish a MERRY CHRISTMAS and safe travels. Enjoy yourselves while you have the time and please remember why we celebrate this time of year.

 In our neighborhood there are now five houses for sale, there were six last month but the sale of 63 Oakmont Pl. leaves our area with five.

These are 63 Fieldcrest, 631 Russell Road, 49 Bethany Drive, 60 Maryland Drive and 25 Whitfield Cove.

 Many of you have probably seen crews digging in many yards in our neighborhood in the past week, mine was one of them. I talked to a JEA person and he told me they were changing out old seals on some individual lines that supply the houses from the main gas line. It appears some of the seals were in ground between 1950 and 1970 and the seals may have been shrinking due to climate changes over the years. Maryland, Northland and Bethany are the ones worked on this week, this was just a precaution and I for one certainly thank them.
