I held a house open to the public today and one of my visitors asked me about REALTOR.COM. 

REALTOR.COM is THE most visited web site in our universe and I think it's important to use it in full!

I had my laptop with me, so I showed her how the house we were holding open was featured, the 25 photos available on REALTOR.COM for that one house, how the editing features enhanced the property.  I showed her how I used the BULLETS AND the written description, because different readers relate to different presentations.  I try to cover all the bases!  I showed her how the headlines worked and how the special message box worked, then I showed her the bar graph that would let know know how many times her home had been visited on Realtor.com.

I took the opportunity to show her our e-listings and she was so impressed!   I showed her that each property has its own web site; I demonstrated scene based virtual tours and the property reports that I have automatically sent to each seller each week via e-mail.  By the time I got to the floorplans and the Previsite part of e-listings, she thought I was a genius!  Our franchise provides us with technology that is truly mind-boggling and less than $15 a month. 

I honestly believe that every agent needs E-Listings, Promo Shop (for mass e-mails, recruiting fliers, property fliers, contact manager, post cards, etc.) and REALTOR.COM.  I'm beginning to believe that with those tools and blogging, an agent doesn't really need a personal web site:  Our agency gives every agent a web site with our Company Site and it's FREE to the agent; I think that is sufficient.

These tools give us what we need to list and sell property:  USE THEM!  It's simple:  Get E-LISTINGS, PROMO SHOP and ENHANCED REALTOR.COM; then regularly BLOG and watch your inventory grow and your incoming calls increase!  It's easy and all the tools are at your fingertips.
