Writing a compelling press release and making sure it does not sound like an advertisement for your brokerage can be tough!

In order to be trusted as a true, go-to "subject matter expert" in your market don't let your news releases be filled with self-promotion. Media outlets and editors know the difference between what is news worthy and what sounds like a script for a 60 second radio ad.

Crafting the correct news releases, and earning coverage among your local media outlets can pay great dividends over the long run; and position your brokerage's talent on a higher level than the other guys!

I'd love to hear about your thoughts on this along with what has worked for you and gained you the most press!
