With the home prices falling faster than ever in our lifetime, Short Sale listings can be our “bread and butter.” Besides learning how to actually do the short sale and work with the bank, keep in mind how traumatic this whole process is for your sellers. These sellers need a lot of TLC because they are going through so much emotion, having to let their homes go and no equity to show for their investment. Handle them gently and with compassion. Many of them have never been behind on a payment before and suddenly they are faced with the realization that they are loosing their home and will have neither down payment nor credit to buy another.
