Monmouth Meadows February Real Estate Activity Report

The following is a real estate market report for the community of Monmouth Meadows in Abingdon MD. Abingdon is located in Harford County MD. This community is convenient to I95 as well as RT 24 and RT 152. Within minutes, you will find a plethora of shopping and eateries. There is the Fesitval of Bel Air which is an oversized shopping center with virtually everything you could want. But if you don't find it there, will find the new Wegman's grocery store that is being constructed right down the street. You also have Walmart, Target, Lowes and the Movie Theater 5 minutes away! If you go a bit further, you have the town of Bel Air. Downtown Bel Air is a quaint town with a variety of shops and food establishments to choose from.

OK the stats I pulled are from February 2011. In the month of February there were 20 active listings in the community of Monmouth Meadows. The prices range from $1600 which is a rental unit all the way up to $449,900. The average home price is $234,303. Given the variety of homes to choose from, these prices are right in line with the area.

The contract as well as sold are the numbers that I am excited about. In 2010 we had ONE under contract with no sales for the month. This year, this is not the case. We have one under contract for the month of February as well as 5 sold units! That is correct I said 5 units sold! This is a very exciting stat for the community. This tells me that the market is looking up as well as the community. Monmouth Meadows is flourishing with real estate activity given the current market conditions. Anyone who lives in this community or is considering moving here, the stats say it all. This is a desirable area of Harford County that I am (as well should you be) proud to call home! If you don't find anything in Monmouth Meadows you like, there are areas adjacent to it. These two areas I am referring to are Constant Friendship and Country Walk. All three of these areas, Constant Friendship, Monmouth Meadows and Country Walk are located in Harford County MD. Although they are split between the zip codes of Abingdon 21009 and Bel Air 21015 they are very similar. Some areas that are close to Abingdon include Bel Air , Aberdeen, Churchville, Edgewood, Fallston and Forest Hill to name a few!.
