IT'S A GREAT TIME TO BE A REALTOR IN THE KNOXVILLE REAL ESTATE MARKET

IT'S A GREAT TIME TO BE A REALTOR IN THE KNOXVILLE REAL ESTATE MARKET

   I am finding that things are picking up in the market in Knoxville.  I talked with a home inspector this past week and they are booked almost solid!!  BUT THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING A REALTOR IN THIS MARKET IS TO BE AN EXIT REALTOR.   Now you may think I am being biased but let me tell you why I believe what I believe.

LOCAL LEVEL:

  1. WARREN AND PHYLLIS ZOOK.  Warren (Principal Broker) has been a business man for many years and understands what it takes to compete in the market.  Phyllis (Realtor) was a nurse for many years and is a very compassionate caring person and extends into the Exit "Family".  Their values are of the highest standard.
  2. FREE CLOSE-ABLE LEADS.  Our website works.  Each agent has their own FREE website.  Meet the requirements (a little work, but worth it) and you are in the computer distributed leads rotation from the company website.  I have personally closed lots of deals from this website, both buyers and sellers.
  3. WEB STRATEGY: Warren and the office have a strategy to have an internet presence that feeds the lead system.  This strategy is worked daily by the REALTORS in the office and our own office internet technician with the aid and advice of the leading internet strategist, Key Yessard.  (Google Key). 
  4. TRAINING.  We have training on the local level with our internet technician, group or individual.  We have bi-weekly training at our office meeting.  Training videos and tapes are available for check out AND all agents have a preceptor to turn to with questions either about real estate or the available tools.
  5. TOOLS:  We have tools that are too numerous to discuss.  Call Nancy at 256-0064 to get a demonstration of some of the tools like E-listings, Promo Shop and other Exit only tools.
  6. ALICE BAKER:  Alice is a real estate coach that will increase your business as she has mine.  There are office sessions (Warren is working those out more of those in the near future.) andindividual sessions (minor costs).

I could go on and on about the local level, but let's talk about the

REGIONAL LEVEL:

  1. MIKE AND JEAN MARIE GRUMBLES, GEORGE AND JEAN STYRON:  To say this people are awesome is an understatement.  They are dedicated to individual agent success, not just regional or local success.
  2. TRAINING:  Our regional owners bring in national trainers on a regular basis to equip us to not only sell more real estate but to better ourselves as people. 
  3. INTERNET STRAGETY:  George, Mike and Key work to help the local offices to be viable on google by having all the offices work together.  Visit www.exitmidsouth.com.

NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY:

  1. STEVE MORRIS: The founder and president of Exit International.  Steve has re-invented real estate.  Steve is not an "untouchable" CEO.  I have personally spoke with him many times.  He is very encouraging to talk with in person.  Call me and I will tell you about the times I have personally chatted with him. (Try talking with the CEO some of the other Franchise real estate offices).
  2. BENEFITS: Exit Realty has health insurance,  disability, retirement and death benefits available to all agents.  
  3. TRAINING:  National trainers available by web casts and in person.  Steve makes receiving training affordable.  Most of the in person training is available at $60 per day!!!(Not including travel, lodging or meals - keep in mind that the Regional office brings these people to us.)  Almost all of the trainers are available by phone and will return your calls at their earliest convenience.  Google some of our trainers:  Johnny Loewy, Bill Nasby (call me to learn how I almost went to jail with Bill), Alex Szinegh, or go to the Exit Realty website to learn more.
  4. EXIT CONVENTION:  Three to four days of networking, training and fun.  Last year was in Dallas, TX.  This year it is in NASHVILLE, TN.  Be sure you are at the President's Ball.  Exit gave away $100,000 and the past two years agents from Tennessee have been the winners.  Let's make it three in a row.  (In Dallas, we had four TN agents in the finals).
