Westhaven Summer Concert Series

Thanks to the Westhaven Foundation a charitable organization that hosts these concerts and many other event in the community and nearby Franklin such as the 5K Fun Run, the summer concert series in Westhaven is thriving again this year. This week on Friday May 20 at 7:00 PM you can see a children's choir from Haiti called "His Little Feet"! They will also be joined by some guest appearances and this close to Nashville a guest appearance can be HUGE so bring you lawn chairs, blankets, picnics and join us at behind the residents center at 401 Cheltenham Road on the green lawn for a free night of family, fun and music.

• Bring lawn chairs or a blanket.
• Arrive early to get a great spot.
• Bring food and beverage or buy it at the brown bag catering window at the pool house.
• Invite friends or make some at the event.
• For kid friendly concerts make a a plan for them, the playground is also nearby so they can swing and play and you can still hear the concert.
• Bring a small table if you need something to set your food and beverages on during your meal.
• Bring a bag to remove your trash and recyclables after the show. There is no clean-up crew after the concert.
• Ride a bike or walk to the concert if possible, parking is limited.
• Enjoy Dinner before the show at Oscars Taco or Ching Asian Bistro or pick it up at Harris Teeter as they are all located in the neighborhood. For Wine and Spirits Westhaven has that retail store covered too.

So take a 3 mile drive west of Franklin to enjoy a great family and friends night with music.
