Alright, you are in the business of real estate, you want to look professional in all regards at all times.

Does an email address on your business cards that it Mike@comcast.net look professional?  Or @aol.,com, @yahoo.com, @gmail.com, or even @realtracs.com? 

Problem that to many face is that they don't want to change from  what is comfortable to them.  Well I have a solution that doesn't impact your comfort level with your current email service at all and still provides you with a professional looking email address for your marketing on business cards and other locations.  But remember unless you like SPAM you should avoid your email address all over the web.  If you still want it on the web, you can use sophisticated techniques like email me at "Mike at MikeGrumbles dot com", or just stick to Form Fillers for your Contact Me pages.

So here is how to do it and it costs under $11 per year to do and takes about a haldf an hour to get it all done.

• Create a www.GoDaddy.com account  (if you don't already have an account)
  
• Buy a domain name (get it approved with your EXIT Broker).

• The domain name could be your name like  www.MikeGrumbles.com
• It could represent your niche market like www.SellingEastNashville.com
• It should   (MUST) be short and easy to spell and easy to read and verbalize
• I suggest still using just the .com domains and not .net or .info or others.
  
• You will have to verify it is available which GoDaddy.com will do for you

• If you have a broker website that creates a sub-page for just you then forward to your particular sub-page.  For example  www.MikeGrumbles.com points to www.Mike.ExitRealtyoftheSouth.com
• Forwarding is done via GoDaddy.com's Domain Manager.  
• 

• Then create your email Address by choosing what comes before the "@".
• 
• So you can pick and you can have more than one, like Mike@SellsEastNashville and Sellers@SEllsEastNashville.com. 
  
• Now so that you do not need to learn a new email system we will forward these emails to a system that you are comfortable and use already today.  See my forwards here.
  
• If you like to use Gmail, and you have Mike@Gmail.com then forward all your newly created emails addresses to Mike@Gmail.com.
• Save your work and your DONE!
