EXIT Realty's Lynne Davis 'Realtor of the Year'

The Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors recently announced the selection of Lynne Davis as the 2010 "Realtor of The Year." Davis is an affiliate of EXIT Realty Bob Lamb & Associates in Murfreesboro. She has been an active Realtor since 2005 and was nominated for the award by her peers at their office.

The award is presented annually to an association member for "outstanding service and dedication to the real estate industry and the community." Her broker, Bob Lamb, notes that "Lynne is loved and respected, not only at our company, but as a valuable member of our professional association. She gives freely of her time and leads by example. She supports the arts, technology, and closely follows the economics of our industry. Lynne is politically active, an advocate for community service, and a prime example of commitment."

Davis was elected to MTAR's board of directors for 2011. Previously, Davis was awarded the 2007 "Rookie of the Year" by the Association of Realtors. She also has been involved in several local organizations such as the Domestic Violence Council, The Pregnancy Support Center, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and an annual participant in "Make a Difference Day." As a politically active Realtor, she served as the 2010 chairperson for the MTAR Government Affairs Committee, Vice President of the Republican Women of Rutherford County, a fundraiser for the annual Reagan Day Dinner, and active in the Chamber of Commerce.

The Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors comprises some 1,500 members from 150 companies covering eight counties in Middle Tennessee. The association recently celebrated its 50th anniversary.
