Vintner's Wood is an up and coming neighborhood located on Barr Road in Lexington, SC. This new neighborhood developed by Mungo is 21 minutes (15 miles) west of Columbia SC. Mungo is a respected and established local builder here in Columbia SC. Right off EXIT 51 from Interstate 20. Homes are priced from the low $200K to $300K. I personally like the new floor plans and elevations that Mungo has updated for this neighborhood. It makes it an affordable Lexington neighborhood with great amenities such as side walks, good sized lots, lots of natural area, pool and cabana (to be built in Summer 2010). The lot sizes range from 10,000 sq ft (1/4 of an acre) to 15,000 sq ft (1/3 of acre). The terrain is varied to level and some inclined. Location is great with close convenience to I-20 (2 miles). Vintner's Wood is zoned Lexington One Schools, for the following Pleasant Hill Elementary, Pleasant Hill Middle, and Lexington High School. All the schools are within a 10 minute drive from Vintners Woods. The Country Club of Lexington is only minutes away on Barr Road.
