This is an important idea for those who work with colleagues and partners; when we ask someone to share their Dreams with us they get to verbalize their vision for themselves; they get to reconnect with what got them in the place they are in, and reflect on it. John Maxwell says that he considers this kind of sharing a great privilege; because, when done right, trust must be present. I think our existence is as facilitators to those who have dreams; and we must journey with them and inspire them; even cheer them on… Resist the natural instinct of playing Devil’s Advocate and when you do, do it with the intention of solidifying your colleagues 'Dreams – not killing them. As you chose to wander into the land of affecting others dreams – look at yours from time to time, and re-energize the flame within…
